(today often called the Second Testament)  

In the New Testament
God’s plan of salvation for the human family
is explained most clearly  

No more prophets speaking on behalf of God.
In the NT God himself does the speaking,
in the person of Jesus, the Word-made-flesh  

The 4 Gospels are the the heart of The Message,
recording and explaining the teaching and life of Jesus

The other books of the NT
record how the first Christians put Jesus’ teaching into practice
and spread The Message to many places

Jesus, may I drink from the waters of the New Testament
every day of my life
