Ever since he started the human family, God has kept in close contact.
He used to have garden chats with Adam and Eve.
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were his special friends

Moses and many other Bible figures had the job of reminding people of God's love and care

Then after speaking in many and varied ways through the prophets,
God the Father sent his own Son to be the Ultimate Messenger.
The Son became a man to tell us as much as our feeble brains could understand
about the life and love of God

If we want to know about the meaning of life,
if we want to know why the human family exists,
if we want to know what God's plan for us is - now and in the life to come -
if we want to know how we're supposed to live our lives,
the Son, Jesus, is The Answer.
He is The Word-made-flesh, The Light, The Way, The Truth, The Life

Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your Son to our world.
May your Son's words and example enlighten my life,
enlighten our world
