This old world is just a preparation for Heaven.
This old Church is just a work-in-progress,
a work that will be completed in Heaven

That doesn't mean we should take this old world and this old Church lightly.
The more we understand Heaven as our goal,
the more we will care about this old world and this old Church

Jesus and the Holy Spirit
are present in this old Church
inviting all people to be part of their special family

"Getting to Heaven" is not a given.
We have to do our part.
We have the free will to mess up God's plan for our eternal happiness

Jesus, help me more clearly understand the meaning of life,
and may I grow in love of you and love of neighbour each day here on earth
