In Jesus and in the Church there is no inequality
on the basis of race or nationality, social condition or sex,
because "there is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free:
there is neither male nor female. For you are all 'one' in Christ Jesus".

That's the theory

Then there's the practice
...... where women are not treated as equals
.....and women ache to be allowed to do more ministry

Jesus, for a start, please move Pope Francis 
to restore the ministry of deaconesses!
