God's spiritual family = God's special people = God's Church,
has Jesus as its head.
Jesus is the head of the family,
he who died and rose to save the family

Family rules come down to one sentence:
love one another as Jesus loved us.

The long-term goal of this family
is life in Heaven,
a life to be shared by non-human creatures (..  my dog, my plants...)

God wants everyone to be in his spiritual family.
God wants this family to be
the light of the world and the salt of the earth

Jesus, please help the Church to look outward,
inviting all people to join the family
- not looking inward,
turning its back on the world
