Pope
Francis is back in Rome after World Youth Day.
He has done and said so much in the past week ....
it will take time for the Church and the world to digest.
One
good thing...as usually happens at time of World Youth Day, but more so this
year:
people's interest in the Church, in religion and in God has been re-kindled
DG!
My
"Foreigner in Hong Kong" column in today's Ming
Pao newspaper
- about Clouds ....with background thought: in the Bible, a cloud is a
symbol of the Holy Spirit:

Cloud
and light. These two images occur together in the manifestations of
the Holy Spirit. In the theophanies of the Old Testament, the
cloud, now obscure, now luminous, reveals the living and saving
God, while veiling the transcendence of his glory - with Moses on Mount
Sinai, at the tent of meeting, and during the wandering in the desert,
and with Solomon at the dedication of the Temple. |
