An
interesting experience on a bus yesterday in Melbourne:
I met a Chinese-speaking 70 year old Vietnamese lady who has been in Australia
for more than 30 years
....after spending a year in a Vietnamese refugee camp in Hong Kong - the old
Argyle Street Camp - in the 1970s.
I shared with her how I used to visit that camp in the mid 1980s ...and through kind friends helped several Vietnamese families get to Australia
