Dear Friends
Yesterday was the 25th anniversary of dear Brisbane friends Greg and Natalie Scalia....for whose wedding in 1987 I was the minister...having been one of Greg's teachers at Iona College in Brisbane
Two days ago I sent an email to Greg and Natalie....and yesterday received a lovely reply from them. In the reply Greg said he remembered what we studied in Year 9 religion class (in 1978!) ...how a life of 72 years can be compared with 24 hours....so a person of 15 years is at 5am in their life
Said Greg: Was reflecting on my life as a 24 hour day as per your grade 9 religion lessons. At 49, that puts me at 4:10 pm...makes one think...
Thinks I: at 66, that puts me at 10pm...makes one think, indeed!
