Dear Friends
Yesterday I was joined for my prison visit by Fr Tom Peyton, an 81 year old Maryknoll priest from the USA who recently received an award from the Red Cross
During his many years in HK, Fr Tom has been a parish priest, school supervisor, prison chaplain, and member of various organizations helping the poor in HK and in China
Some months ago I heard him say that as he has got older, he has let go of various responsibilities - parish, school etc - "but as long as I can walk, I will keep up my prison visits. Prisons will be the last thing to go"
