Dear Friends
For those who may ask what they can do to honour Neil, we have a simple request. Honour his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink.
The Armstrong family's statement
in this report about the death of Neil ArmstrongThe word "modesty" stands out.
Not something we associate these days with a hero.
A hero, especially a sports hero, is usually someone who pumps their fist in the air at every little point wonModest people: Pete Sampras, Rod Laver....David Rudisha, Neil Armstrong
