O Holy Spirit, please guide me as I read these passages for today. 
May these passages give me hope, strength, wisdom, courage and peace for my daily life 

Tobias arranged that Raphael go to Gabael
to collect the silver left by Tobit many years before.

Gabael returned with Raphael to Raguel's house 
and joined the wedding feast.

Realising that his parents would be worried about him,
Tobias left for home as soon as the wedding feast was over.

Raguel gave Tobias and Sarah half his possessions
and prayed that he would see their children some day.

A happy and grateful Tobias thanked God
for all the blessings of his journey to Media

The Lord's is the earth and all its peoples.
It is the Lord who is Creator of the universe.

May all hearts open their doors to the Lord.
Let him enter, the king of glory.

Lord I hope in you all the day long.
Forgive my sins and help me walk in your truth.

God my savior, teach me your way of truth

The word of God is something alive and active.
It goes deep into our hearts

In Jesus we have the supreme high priest who is now in the highest heaven.
He knows how weak we are. He himself was tempted in every way, but did not sin

Let us be confident in approaching his throne of grace. 
He will give us grace when we are in need of help 

Jesus, our high priest, help me when I'm weak

One of the criminals hanging on a cross mockingly said to  Jesus 
"Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well"

But the other criminal rebuked the first one and said
"We are paying the penalty for our crimes. But this man has done nothing wrong"

"Jesus", he said, "remember me when you come into your kingdom"

Jesus replied "I promise you, this day you will be with me in Paradise"
