Dear friend,
Your e-mail address has been passed on to me so that I may be able to inform you of a meeting that we hope you will be able to attend. After our letter to the Tablet on June 2nd., 'A call to Action' we had a meeting for priests and deacons to which seventy or so came along and we have now arranged for A MEETING AT HEYTHROP IN LONDON ON WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 10TH. IN THE AFTERNOON FOR EVERYONE, PEOPLE AND PRIESTS, to discuss the issues raised in our letter and to try to find a way forward. Our hope is to be a voice in which our bishops will be able to hear our fears and our hopes for the future of our church.
If you have already heard of this meeting, please forgive me but do please come along and encourage others to do so. We will be sending you fuller details nearer the date but we wanted you to know of the meeting so that you might get the date in your diary.
