1st Reading:  God sends peace flowing like a river

Responsorial Psalm:  Cry out with joy to God all the earth ...to praise Him for his goodness

2nd Reading:  Paul's only boast: the Cross of Jesus

Gospel:  First thing to say/think when entering a building/room: “Peace to this house!”

Reflection:
Something we can do whenever we enter a home/room/office/factory/caravan/you-name-it:
In our hearts make a prayerful wish: "Peace to this house/room/office etc"

Prayer - a beautiful song which uses words from today's first reading
