Readings for March 31, EASTER SUNDAY
First Reading: The One hanging dead on a tree came back to life for you and me
Psalm: This
is the day that the Lord has made
Second Reading:
By Baptism we have died with Jesus and been brought back to
life with him.
All Christians can say they have had a Near
Death Experience!
Gospel: In the empty tomb John the apostle "saw, and believed"
Reflection:
Pope Francis said to the young inmates
on Holy Thursday night: "Don't let anyone steal your hope".
We have faith and hope
that even the most hopeless
situations can be taken care of by God,
just like the hopelessness of Jesus' dead body in the tomb
Prayer Jesus, Risen Lord, may
your resurrection give
hope
to our daily lives
