Reflection:
A control
freak is someone motivated by power. Many politicians and other leaders are
people who want power more than anything else. Even some church leaders
are motivated by power more than by a desire to serve their people....people
like the openly ambitious cardinal George Pell who is trying to be the next
pope. May he and others tempted by power, by the power zone, follow the
example of Jesus in today's Gospel and reject the lust for power
