Readings for January 26, the Feast of Saints Timothy and Titus

First reading:  Paul's letter to Timothy, a 3G (3rd generation)  Christian

Alternative first reading: Paul asking Titus to appoint leaders in each town

Responsorial Psalm:  Tell all the nations about God's love

Gospel:  Christians, especially Gospel workers, will sometimes be regarded as crazy, just like Jesus

Reflection:
Timothy and Titus were Paul's special helpers, so their feast day is held on the day after the conversion of Paul. Both were young men. May more young people give themselves to the spreading of the Good News

Prayer:
Jesus, may the letters of Paul to Timothy and Titus give guidance to today's Church, so that every town may have "suitable leaders"
